Trials and Tribulations
COVID TRANSITION
- Oversaw the transition from a real-life show, through to an online format, and finally back to a live event in the last year, including figuring out what to do with printed posters and how to advertise as effectively as possible.
- This included configuring and organizing new methods of communication, leading team meetings, and rescoping end goals with the team.
- Having to figure out new handoff methods for large after-effect files and templates.
- Coordinated new collaboration and group critique methods between the VFX, Marketing, and Design team, as well as implementing strict individual responsibilities.
- Continuous reiteration of timelines and goals with new changes.
HIRING
- Oversaw the transition of new crew and changes within hiring.
- Mentored new hires and lead the graphics and marketing dept.
